Welcome to our second newsletter of the year. Last time we spoke about the need for self-care in times of trial. I hope you were able to find some helpful information upon reading.
We are now in April and the season of Autumn. With the changing colour of our deciduous trees and the cooling temperatures, it may be timely to reflect on the changes that take place within us as well.
There is no doubt in our mind and body that as we get older the changes taking place become more obvious. Maybe we can’t move or think as quickly as we used to. Our once flexible body is now not so flexible. Vision or hearing will often decrease in acuity or clarity.
We may experience muscle aches and pains that we’ve never had before or those injuries from our younger days may come back to haunt us. You don’t need to be in you 80’s or 90’s to experience some of these things.

Whilst all this is part of life we can do things to help us feel better.
No doubt you may have thought of some wonderful things to help you adjust to the changes taking place. However, if you are struggling here are some ideas that may help:
Drink water: small amounts often. This helps the body stay hydrated.
Eat fresh food: this will nourish you and help you feel better.
Take a walk each day: it will help you feel better and you mind will feel clearer. If each day or walking isn’t possible then what is within your ability to achieve
Social life: spend time with family or friends, enjoying a meal, conversation and mental stimulation.
Bowen Therapy: gentle yet affective. A wonderful option to help us release stress and reduce those body aches and pains.
If you’re thinking it’s been a while since my last Bowen session or it hasn’t been that long but think it’s a good idea, then you can:
